Job Description
The Security Consultant/Architect in the Europe Security Services practices helps to lead the growth and management of all facets of the UK Security Services business, primarily by using their ICS and SCADA knowledge and experience to assist the local geographies. This requires mixed business development and experienced delivery staff at a senior consulting / partner level who have in-depth industry knowledge and demonstrated thought leadership in the following core domains: General ICS Security, Smart Grid, , E&U, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, SCADA System Security, IEC 62443, NIST 800-82 and GRC. The Security Consultant/Architect will provide subject matter expertise through delivery of workshops, consulting engagements, and as leader on solution design and deployment projects
This role assists clients to determine their security issues and recommend solutions to drive value. They use in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge aligned to business objectives, processes, measurements and tools to analyze their clients’ security issues, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions.
Marketing and Sales
Work with BeNeLux solutions teams and across local geographies to provide content to drive deals
Provide demonstration of IBM credentials in one of the core capability domains (General ICS Security, Smart Grid, Smart Metering, E&U, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, SCADA System Security and GRC.)
Work closely with the global and local solution design teams in developing client presentations, proposals and SOWs
Provide a focal point for IBM Europe organizations to help understand capabilities, offerings, client references
Become a recognized thought leader in one of the core domains, utilizing conferences, white papers, client presentations to build awareness of IBM credentials
Be accountable for driving signings in the BeNeLux and Europe
Meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis
Delivery
Working with global and local teams, help organize project approaches and teams for client delivery
Manage multiple teams and participate in successful project delivery, to varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs
Help resolve project issues as they arise
Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio
Practice
Provide European practice leadership by facilitating a community of like minded practitioners to share and exchange ideas for practice growth and improvement
Contribute content and advice to the offering development process
Successfully resolve problems at executive levels
Help shape the emerging model of the Global Security practice
People
Help establish capability and skills models for the core domain
Become a role model for global practitioners in the core domain
Ability to speak and influence decisions
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10 years’ experience in management consulting and/or systems integration
At least 8 years’ experience working in projects related to the core domain - General ICS Security, Smart Grid, Smart Metering, E&U, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, SCADA System Security, IT/-OT convergence and GRC
Conversant with IEC 62443 and NIST 800-82 framework assessments.
At least 3 years’ experience in working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions
At least3 years’ experience in working with security consulting teams
Readiness to travel 75% travel annually
English: Fluent, Dutch, French, German an advantage
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in working with security consulting teams
At least 3 years’ experience in working in international deployment roles
At least 8 years’ experience in management consulting
Fluent in English, French AND Dutch
